Makeup to Compliment Your Summer Style
Let’s amp up your summer makeup game! Why not emphasize your features & create a full look by pairing your makeup up with your hairstyle?! In this blog post, I’m sharing some hair & makeup combos that are sure to be perfect for any of your summer plans!
1. Bun or Pixie Cut
By wearing your hair up, you instantly are bringing all of the attention to your face! Try pulling the attention to your bone structure by using bronzer to emphasize the natural contours of your face. You can also further exaggerate the high planes of your face by using just the right amount of highlight that’s sure to shine when you’re catching those sun rays! Still feeling adventurous? Try adding a pop of color with a BOLD lip and don’t forget to coat those lashes thoroughly with your favorite waterproof mascara to complete your look!

2. Braid
Whether you choose to rock that side Elsa braid, a face framing braid or a braid towards the back, it’s always a youthful look that has a touch of sweetness to it! Play it up with a colorful cheek that’s both playful and fresh at the same time. If you’re going for that glowy and dewy, trendy summer look, try using a cream blush. Using a similar tone, lightly define the lips to match and top it off with a gloss for that summer shine!

3. Hair Down
When you wear your hair down you want to bring definition to your face but also own a more natural look with a monochromatic palette. With this look, try emphasizing your summer tan with a bronze or champagne palette! I also love bringing a hint of warmth to neutral shades with a touch of rose or mauve. The key to nailing a monochromatic look is using the same tones on the eyes, cheeks and lips to equally define each part of the face with the perfect balance!
