Tutorial: Natural Makeup Using Clean Beauty
In this makeup tutorial, I’m showing you how to achieve a beautiful, natural makeup look achieved using only clean beauty products!
Most of the products used in this video are verified Clean by Sephora. By using these products and/or adding in some of your favorites, you’ll be able to make this look your own with just a little bit of practice!
Step One: Summer Friday Jet Lag Mask
Starting with this product hydrates your face before applying any actual makeup products and gives it the moisture it needs to really prep your face.
Step Two: Kosas Tinted Face Oil in Shade 03
This product acts a lot like a tinted moisturizer, but it actually has even more coverage! It can be applied with your fingers by simply pressing in and rubbing (gently!) into the skin. After applying with your fingers, I always recommend going back in with a brush & a little bit of product to really smooth everything out and run it lightly down onto the neck.
This product is seriously amazing, I’m already obsessed! It has great pigment and a super soft velvety feel! I can’t recommend it enough.
Step Three: Tarte Shape Tape
While this product isn’t completely clean, it is cruelty free! Using this concealer isn’t 100% necessary to achieve this look since the tinted face oil does such a great job of covering and even brightening up the skin. But if you need just a bit of spot treatment in certain areas, it’s never a bad idea to go back in with a concealer to help.
Step Four: RMS Beauty Living Luminizer Glow Quad Mini
This versatile product has 4 neutral shades and can be used as eyeshadow, bronzer, highlighter, etc. First, I’m going to use it on my eyelids. Because this product is a cream, you never really know the true pigmentation until you try it out on your skin, so make sure you test it first.
Starting with the darkest color in the palette, you can apply it to your lid and bring it up into the crease. This gives you a really soft, natural eyeshadow look, or a base to build off of if you want to add more. Then go in with one of the lighter shades and put it in the corner of your eyelid to help brighten up your eyes.
Step Five: MILK MAKEUP KUSH High Volume Mascara
This step is super simple, just apply like mascara! I personally love this clean mascara. The brush is absolutely amazing! It’s a super full, classic brush that applies so nicely.
Step Six: Ilia Multi-stick in “A Fine Romance”
Multi-sticks are also super versatile and can be used in various ways on your face. Here, we are going to use it as blush. Because it’s a creamy stick, this can also be applied with your fingertips. You can begin by simply pouncing it on with the stick and then blending with your fingers. As with anything, if you feel like it’s too much, you can always go back in with a brush and smooth it out!
This product is great, it has great pigmentation and even though it looks super bright in the stick itself, it comes out as a beautiful berry-like classic blush color.
Step Seven: RMS Beauty Living Luminizer Glow Quad Mini … again!!
Instead of using it on the eyes this time, we are going to use it as a highlighter! Using your ring finger, use the lightest shade and dab it on your cheek bones for a subtle glow!
Step Eight: Anastasia Brow Wiz
This step is totally optional, I did not use a special clean product for this, but I just went in really lightly to give them a smidge more fullness. Because this look is so natural, you don’t want to overdo your brows here!
Step Nine: Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in “Werk”
To finish off this look, you can use this multi-stick on your lips! It’s a super beautiful, natural shade and bonus… it smells amazing!

I used these products for the very first time while recording this video, so you can see my honest reactions. All of them honestly have really great pigmentation, which clean products were previously negatively reviewed for. Hope this helps you discover your own clean beauty products & looks!
